Design system for twoday products
The product design system is a toolkit that empowers product teams to create coherent and visually appealing digital interfaces. The toolkit consists of foundational elements and functional components. Use these building blocks to build engaging and consistent twoday products.
The design system is flexible enough to meet the unique needs of different twoday companies and their products, while maintaining coherence across the company.
Designers who have a twoday Figma license can access the design systems shared library with components and styles here:
Minimum visual style
twoday has various products which already have their own respective color schemes and component choices that their customers know and love. Introducing the twoday Design System can spark questions like
- “What do we absolutely have to implement?”
- “To which extent our product can have its own identity?”
- “What conflicts with the twoday brand?”
To achieve coherence across products, a twoday product should at minimum abide to the following set of rules:
- Must use Core colors
- Must use Libre Franklin as the system font
- Must use of defined radiuses
- Should use Streamline icons
- Should use defined elevations
- Should use 8-point grid & sizes documented
- Should use the prebuilt components
This is the minimum foundation that can still be considered “twoday”, yet still leaving plenty of room to design one’s own way.
Feedback
Product teams are encouraged to suggest design system changes, give feedback and discuss their needs with the product design system team.
